William Douglas Sibley III (know as Doug)

Born: June 17, 1934 in Hillburn, NY

Died: May 31, 2020

Doug grew up in Hillburn, NY, but lived his adult life in Garnerville, NY for sixty plus years

Doug was a Korean War Veteran

Doug worked for Avon Products from the time he came home from the Korean War until his retirement at 55 years of age.

A forever bachelor, he was predeceased by both his parents William D. Sibley Jr./ Lillian (Morgan) Sibley. He was also predeceased by his five sisters, Violet (Luther) Bower, Phoebe Sibley, Doris (Al) Nicolas, Lillian (Clarence) Teleschow, Mabel Tietz. Also predeceased is his nephews Robert Telschow and John Telschow.

He leaves behind his nieces and nephews Cindy, Vanessa, Luke, Phoebe Jane, Billy, Dodie, Tammy, Beverly, Nancy, & Tina

In memory of Uncle Doug. I felt since Doug was an environmentalist, long before they coined the phrase, that he have a tree planted in his honor.

I worked with Doug at Avon and he was such a nice man- I saw him a couple times last year and we took him home the from the doctors on one occasion- fondly remembered-God Bless such a nice soul-RIP
