Obituary

Harold "Kuch" Kuchler of Suffern, NY passed aaway August 26, 2020 at the age of 85. Kuch was born November 8, 1934 in Haverstraw, NY and served in the United States Army from February 1957 to January 1959, and was retired from Chestnut Ridge Bus Company working their from 1991 to 2016. Kuch was the oldest living member of the Brewer (Monsey) Fire Department joining in 1953. He held the Rank of Captain of the Fire Police for many years, the Members of the Monsey fire department was Kuch's second family. He loved the firehouse. Kuch is survived by his wife Barbara foe whom he married in 1981, his children, Cindy (Frank) Colandrea of Nanuet, NY, Nancy (Steve) Dariff and their children Keith, and Nick and great grandson Waylon, Harold(Hank) Kuchler Jr., his children, Alexis, Jake, Junior, and Jazmine all of Lake Helen Florida., Lance Weinstein of Suffern, NY and his children Carlee, Aubrey, and Allie, and their Mother Jennifer Weinstein of Suffern. Kuch's Funeral Service will be held on Monday August 31, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Scarr Funeral Home Inc 160 Orange Avenue Suffern, NY friends and relatives may call on Sunday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 P.M. and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Scarr Funeral Home. Kuch's family wants to thank the Brewer fire department, They are the true definition of brotherhood. The outpouring of support that they gave Kuch was simply breathtaking and no words can ever express how much his family appreciates all of you.
