The wonderful Brian Miele and I are second cousins (which means his grandmother and my grandfather were siblings) but because i grew up with Brian and Sheree and Gregg and Lori in the small town of Hillburn he was really more like a brother to me...I was at their house all the time, we lived only 2 blocks away...Brian,and my brother Mark, and Tim Gulick were the 3 "rockstars" of my childhood and I have so many great memories of Hillburn in the 60's...including all of the great music that Brian turned me on to ! I am thinking so much of his family and my family and old friends and I really wish I could be there with all of you to cry and even laugh a little together but I live in The SF Bay Area...I am sending LOVE to all of Brians family and to all of his friends...May the beautiful and playful spirit of Brian travel swiftly and safely to its next destination, carried on waves of pure LOVE...
