Obituary

Beverly A. McCormick of Manahawkin, NJ a former Suffern resident passed away peacefully at home on July 22,2020. She was a loving homemaker and employee for the Ramapo Central School District. Beverly is survived by her six loving daughters, Debi and her husband Lyle Shuart, Pam Wesley, Jill Mayo, Teri and her husband Kenneth Schroen, Donna Dadinos and Mike Prisco, Kimberly Sharp and Wally Mann. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren,, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is also survived by her sister Nancy and her husband Richard Ibsen, she was pre-deceased by her husband of 52 years James McCormick in 2002, her sister Virginia Klink, and her brother Bruce Sutherland. Beverly's Funeral Service will be held on Monday July 27, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Scarr Funeral Home, Inc 160 Orange Avenue Suffern, NY 10901, friends may visit from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home on Monday before the service. Following the Service Beverly will be buried with her Beloved Husband James at the Frederick Loescher Veteran's Cemetery 220 Brick Church Road New Hempstead, NY. For those who can not attend you can visit scarrfuneralhome.net to view Beverly's Funeral Service via Webcasting. In lieu of flowers donations to Hackensack Meridian Health at Home 30 Prospect Ave, Hackensack, NJ 07601 in Beverly's name would be appreciated.

Beverly was a wonderful neighbor who always offered a smile and a wave. She was always supportive of our children and their various scouting fundraising. She will be missed. Our condolences to all who loved her. The Burton family.

I am so sorry for the loss of your mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin, friend . 💔 My condolences to the entire family. I may not be able to be at the service but i will be thinking of everyone. She was such a wonderful, caring, kind person for as long as I knew Mrs. McCormick and the family! So happy to have enjoyed being able to share gatherings and memories with your family for all these years . Again, my sincerest thoughts and prayers during is sad time 🤗❤️
