Burbridge, Annette Rose (nee Bivona) of Suffern, NY, passed away on April 13, 2020. She was born on September 24, 1936, in the Bronx, NY, the daughter of Joseph Bivona and Frances Bivona (nee Finochioro). Beloved wife of the late William Frances Burbridge. Devoted mother of Joseph Patrick, Francine, and Debra Ann. Loving grandmother of Deanna, Colleen, Michael, Oscar, and William Frances. Annette was in and out of hospitals for twenty-six years and fought hard until her last breath. She refused to let her disability define her and lived her life to the fullest. Her smile and spirit lit up every room she entered. Her three children survive her, along with her daughter-in-law Joann, five grandchildren, her favorite sister-in-law's, Carolyn Bivona and Marion Burbridge, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, William Frances Burbridge, her mother, Frances, her father, Joseph, her brothers Leonard and Carmine, and her sister Tina Pappalardo.

Visiting is Wednesday, April 22, from 11-12 pm at Scarr Funeral Home in Suffern, NY. A Christian burial will follow at Frederick Loescher Veterans Memorial Cemetery, where her husband Bill is waiting for her. In place of flowers, please donate to the American Kidney fund in Annette Burbridge's name.

Frannie and family,

My Heartfelt condolences. Your mom was an angel and lived her life in such a beautiful way. She was the epitome of strength and aged so gracefully. I know these circumstances may add to the pain. But, continue to have faith and know the memories will last a lifetime.

All our love, Pam and family.

Loved those beautiful Sunny Sunday afternoons sitting on the front porch on Charles Ct.; chatting and laughing with Annette, her family as they came and went and neighbors, Helen, Tracy, Charles, Jeff and Stacy while watching the children and Snowy enjoy the day! Hold on to your memories, they are the best medicine!

Love to you all, God Bless,
Donna S.
